Spiritual Impact Stories
Delivering Christmas Joy Around the World
It is encouraging to hear from church partners in the Indian Ocean Islands as they faithfully minister to children and their families in spite of all the challenges and dangers they face.
“It is very dangerous to share your faith here,” a Christian partner said. “Christians face severe persecution from their own family and extremist groups. The last time we distributed gifts to the children, we also shared testimony about what the Lord is doing in our lives. Now people are starting to ask questions about Christianity.”
Even in the face of persecution, Christian leaders continue to take a stand for Christ, realizing that the message of hope contained in each shoe box gift makes an eternal impact on a child’s life.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Pray for the safety of our partners as they minister in a hostile environment.
