For more than a decade, Operation Christmas Child has answered the call to share the love of Jesus Christ with hurting children around the world. In 2011, more than 8.6 million shoe box gifts were collected internationally from the United States and 10 other countries. Since 1993, more than 94 million gift-filled shoe boxes have been distributed to children in more than 130 countries worldwide.

PROCESSING CENTER DOMESTIC MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES
Join the Operation Christmas Child staff as a Domestic Missions Team Member. Each autumn, we seek partnerships with skilled management staff on a short term basis to work as managers and supervisors at our Minneapolis, Minn. Processing Center. Use your skills to bring joy and eternal hope to millions of children while working with volunteers and seasonal employees. Participants in our Domestic Missions program must be able to work full time for 4-6 weeks during the months of November and December.
Call 1-800-442-9120 on August 6, 2012 at 8 a.m. EST to register to serve with us.
AREA TEAM DEVELOPMENT
Operation Christmas Child volunteer opportunities are organized by Area Teams. By localizing volunteers to their communities, they can focus their efforts on one area. Volunteers can join an existing Area Team or partner with regional staff to develop one if it is not in place. Each coordinator position represents one volunteer position, while team positions have no limit on the number of members.
Is God calling you to use your gifts and talents in the ministry of Operation Christmas Child? Becoming a part of an active Area Team is an opportunity to make an impact on children who are refugees of civil war, survivors of natural disasters, and victims of extreme poverty.
If you are interested in serving with us in the work of Operation Christmas Child, please visit our Volunteer Opportunities page.
If you have questions or would like to receive an application, or complete a Volunteer Interest Form.
National Collection Week is November 12-19, 2012
