Generations of kids have sold ice-cold lemonade on their neighborhood sidewalks to earn a few dollars to treat themselves to a special gift.
Then there are the two six-year-old girls in Camden, S.C., who used the proceeds from their lemonade stand to buy and send gifts to disadvantaged children in other parts of the world.
Ashley Wilder and Grace Hanson have packed dozens of shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child, and they have also gotten their friends from school and church involved in the project.
