amaritan's Purse was founded by Dr. Bob Pierce in the southern California area of the USA in 1970.
To extend our base of operations, the ministry opened offices in Canada (1973), the Netherlands (1983), the United Kingdom (1989), Australia (1995), Germany (2001) and Ireland (2002). Each office works toward the same goal--taking the love of Jesus Christ to victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, and disease.
