Franklin Graham helped pass out gift-filled shoe boxes to nearly 500 children at the Evangelist Church of Nazon, Haiti on January 7, 2011. The gifts brought joy and the hope of the Gospel to hundreds of children who have been suffering from the effects of last year’s earthquake that devastated the nation on January 12, 2010. Many of these children have lost family members and friends from the disaster and are still living in squalid conditions. Samaritan’s Purse plans to distribute 250,000 shoe boxes in Haiti this year through our Operation Christmas Child project.
