Gifts-in-Kind Program
Donations of toys, candy, hygiene products and school supplies are needed
Simple Gifts, Transformed Lives
Is your business or organization interested in an opportunity to reach out to hurting children? Would you like to participate in a Christmas project that has a
worldwide impact? If the answer is yes, then Operation Christmas Child is one way you can make a difference.
Since 1993, this project of the international Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse has delivered a message of God’s love to more than 69 million children through simple gift-filled shoe boxes. Each year, hundreds of thousands of caring people across the United States, Canada, Australia, and Europe pack boxes with small toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and candy for shipment overseas, where our local ministry partners hand deliver the boxes to needy boys and girls.
We invite you to support Operation Christmas Child with a gift of product or service. Your simple gift can truly transform a child’s life!
How to Get Involved
Businesses, corporations, and organizations of all kinds have caught the vision for this project, using their financial and material resources to help children in the most difficult of circumstances. Many of these organizations benefit from significant tax deductions, and the ability to reduce large quantities of overstocked product, discontinued product, and overruns. All have received the satisfaction of knowing they provided joy and hope in the lives of hurting children.
Donated products are first transported to an Operation Christmas Child warehouse in either Boone or Charlotte, NC. From there, these items are redeployed to one of six processing centers where they are used as appropriate filler for shoe boxes that have been packed by families or groups and sent to us during collection season. After processing, shoe box gifts are shipped overseas to needy boys and girls in over 100 countries.
Please see the list below for suggested gift items which your organization may be interested in donating as filler for shoe boxes.
