Created to Worship

Aaron Gillespie, lead singer for popular Christian band The Almost and the former drummer for Underoath, just wrapped up a three-day trip with Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in Haiti.

Gillespie traveled to Haiti to film a music video for his upcoming solo worship album, “Anthem Song,” scheduled to release on March 8. The video is for the first single, “We Were Made for You.”

“We were created to worship God. We were created for union with God,” he said. “That’s kind of the backbone behind the song. And what better place to go than Haiti—since it’s the worst spot right now—to make a visual representation of this?”

While shooting in Haiti's National Cathedral, Aaron met a 63-year-old blind man who also was a guitar player. The man had come up to Aaron and just started to play along with him. See what happens in the video below.
