New Shoes
February 2, 2009
The cold weather came early this year. Harsh weather means hard times for the people of Kolonia. Their dwellings are poorly insulated and many families can only afford sandals for their children.
Many children in our after-school program face these issues. To help them survive the winter, we brought 27 pairs of shoes to hand out. The children smiled and thanked us, knowing that their toes would no longer be numb by the time they reached their homes.
Please continue to pray for the Roma children and their families. Pray that as we meet their physical needs, their hearts would become more open to the Good News of Jesus Christ.
