Sr. Technical Advisor, Water & Sanitation (495)

Boone, NC - The Senior Technical Advisor for Water and Sanitation will serve in a senior technical advisory capacity to establish, build and expand clean water and sanitation projects and programming in countries in which Samaritan’s Purse is involved around the world, mobilizing appropriate water and sanitation measures in disaster response.

Position will cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships with bilateral donors and partners; oversee program strategies with Samaritan’s Purse field offices and partners; create and establish water and sanitation protocols; build internal capacity to design and manage effective water and sanitation programming; and coordinate the technical review of new program proposals for funding consideration.

Bachelor’s degree in water-related engineering or four to ten years' related experience and/or training, along with strong written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to problem solve, manage stressful situations, and handle multiple priorities. OCC Team Distributions Manager (488)

Boone, NC - This position will serve on the Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child – USA Domestic Team working with domestic staff, volunteers, students and donors to create experiential vision and mission trips into countries where Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is distributing shoe box gifts and fulfilling ministry opportunities.

* Working with OCC International Team to develop a comprehensive plan of countries and timing to lead team distributions into respective countries

* With the OCC International Regional Director and Manager to serve the local National Leadership Team in planning and coordinating distribution locations, lodging, transportation and all additional details needed for team distributions

* Working with OCC Domestic Managers to manage perspective lists of guest

*Manage all details related for three to five team distribution/mission trips annually, including pre- and post-trip responsibilities

* Ensure that each trip meets ministry goals

* Manage assigned special projects

Pre-requisites:

* Experience leading international mission trips of large numbers

*Fluency in Spanish required
