Jesus Christ said the poor would always be among us. Working with Samaritan’s Purse around the world, I witness extreme poverty—not only a lack of money or resources, but an utter lack of hope. As Samaritan’s Purse works to meet the physical needs of the poor, sick, and suffering, we share the Good News of our Lord and Savior. Christ alone offers hope not only for today but also for eternity.
As you look through this catalog and get a glimpse of the scope of our work, I hope you will pray for men, women, and children around the world who are in desperate circumstances now. Ask God to use these projects to demonstrate His compassion and earn a hearing for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
All of us at Samaritan’s Purse are grateful for your prayers and support. May God bless you this Christmas season as you celebrate the birth of His Son and His salvation for all who believe. “‘They shall call His name Immanuel,’ which is translated, ‘God with us’” (Matthew 1:23).
