WHAT IS OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD?
Millions of boys and girls around the world will receive Christmas gifts this year through Operation Christmas Child. The project would not be possible without people like you who pack simple shoe boxes with toys and school supplies. The Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse then delivers the gift boxes overseas to children affected by poverty, natural disaster, and war, so that they can experience God’s love and the true meaning of Christmas.
If you are in or around New York City, join us for the largest shoe box gift packing party Manhattan has ever seen! On Nov. 10 from 4-7 p.m., hundreds of volunteers will gather at the Madison Square Garden, Garden Terrace to assemble thousands of shoe box gifts for needy children around the world!
