Samaritan's Purse is helping families displaced by devastating rains

Catastrophic flooding in the Kashmir region of northern India and Pakistan has displaced hundreds of thousands of people.

The area typically experiences some annual flooding, but monsoon rainfall over the past week has caused mass devastation. Thousands are homeless or stranded without food or water. The current death toll is over 450.

In addition, the floods have washed away numerous livestock and crops—the very livelihoods that families depend upon to survive.

Samaritan’s Purse has launched an emergency response through our partners in south Asia to provide clean water and food to hundreds of families in the Kashmir region. Please pray for the flood victims, and pray that God would allow us to reach many people with physical and spiritual relief.
