Indonesia-Earthquake and Tsunami Relief
A 7.5-magnitude earthquake and ensuing tsunami struck the Indonesian island of Sulawesi on Sept. 28. More than 1,400 people have perished with hundreds more seriously injured. More than 65,000 people are displaced and in need of basic necessities. The city of Palu, with more than 300,000 residents, has been devastated. Samaritan's Purse is responding by sending emergency non-food items, including tarps. We will also address clean water and sanitation needs, as well as medical care.
