In Memory Of
Thomas Clay Cox - Laurel Springs, NC

Tom grew up on his family’s cattle farm in Alleghany County. He became a pharmacist and later moved to California, where he worked for the West Los Angeles Department of Veterans Affairs and met his wife, Catherine.

In 2009, he returned to North Carolina and eventually built his dream home on family land with a view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A self-taught musician, he loved playing the blues on his vintage Fender Stratocaster guitar. He also enjoyed spending his retirement playing games with family, caring for their cats, working out, gardening, and bush hogging on his new Kubota.

His one regret would have been to not see his daughter Taylor graduate from High Point University. His family will treasure memories of his final day gathered in love and joy on Thanksgiving.
