Samaritan\u2019s Purse Sends Disaster Response Teams to Alabama After Deadly Tornadoes<\/h1>\r\n BOONE, N.C., March 4, 2019<\/span>\r\n \r\n

Samaritan's Purse, an international Christian relief organization, has deployed<\/a> staff, volunteers and a tractor-trailer stocked with tools and supplies to tornado-ravaged Alabama. The powerful storm spawned multiple twisters, killing at least 23 people and leveling entire neighborhoods. It is one of the deadliest storms to strike Alabama in years.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

The North Carolina-based relief organization is calling on volunteers<\/a> from across the country to help residents devastated by these tornadoes. Teams of volunteers will clear debris, remove downed trees, tarp roofs and search for personal belongings.<\/p>\r\n \r\n
