Official Contest Rules for Hobby Lobby Gift Card Giveaway on Instagram<\/h1>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n

By participating in this contest and submitting your comment to enter this contest (the “Contest”), you (“Contestant”) accept and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\t

  1. Dates: The Contest runs Monday, Oct. 19, 2020 \u2013 Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. EDT (“Contest Period”). <\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t
  2. Eligibility: The Contest is open only to legal residents of the continental United States who are 18 years or older. You must comply with all Terms and Conditions. Employees, immediate family members\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\tof employees, and directors or contractors of Samaritan’s Purse or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association or Hobby Lobby are not eligible for prizes.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t
  3. Submission Requirements:\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
      \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
    1. Samaritan’s Purse will promote the Contest by posting on Instagram (a “Promotional Post”). Contestants must (i) follow @OperationChristmasChild and @HobbyLobby on Instagram and (ii) post a comment in response to a Samaritan’s Purse Promotional Post (Contestant’s comment is referred to as a “submitted comment”).<\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
    2. Your submitted comment must answer the question, “How do you make your shoebox gifts unique?” and you must tag a friend in your comment.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
    3. You are encouraged to enter multiple submitted comments throughout the Contest Period.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
    4. You are also encouraged to repost a Promotional Post to your Instagram feed and stories to invite friends to enter, but reposting will not increase chances of winning.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
    5. Submitted comments must be posted visible to public.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
    6. You must be the sole, original author of your submitted comment.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
    7. Changes may not be made to a submitted comment once it has been posted.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
    8. Submitted comments must not contain any material that infringes another’s rights, including without limitation material that violates intellectual property rights, including without limitation copyright, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights, or include trademarks, logos, insignia, location signage, photographs, artwork or sculptures, except those owned by Samaritan’s Purse. Submitted comments must not include pictures or depictions of third parties, including without limitation minors, celebrities and friends who have not expressly authorized Contestant to display their image or likeness in any submitted comment.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
    9. Samaritan’s Purse reserves the right to hide or delete any submitted comment for any reason.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/ol>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t
    10. Submission Rights: You retain rights to your submitted comments; however, by entering the Contest, you grant Samaritan’s Purse a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the submitted comment, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed, in furtherance of Samaritan’s Purse’s non-profit purpose. Samaritan’s Purse is not obligated to provide any authorship or design credit, although it may choose to do so. Samaritan’s Purse shall not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with any uses of the submitted comments.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t
    11. Winner Selection:\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
        \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
      1. Submissions will be judged by Samaritan’s Purse. <\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
      2. Up to nine (9) winning submitted comments will be selected during the Contest Period\u2014three each day\u2014 based on their creativity, originality, potential to engage shoebox packers, and adherence to Contest submission requirements.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
      3. Winning Contestants (“winners”) will be notified by Monday, Oct. 26, 2020. Notification will be made by Samaritan’s Purse in writing via tagging the winners in an Instagram story on the official Operation Christmas Child Instagram account. The winner-notification Instagram story will request that the winners send a Direct Message to the official Operation Christmas Child Instagram account with the winner’s mailing address to claim the Prize.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
      4. Samaritan’s Purse reserves the right to disqualify any submission for any reason, and winning submitted comments will be the final decision of Samaritan’s Purse.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/ol>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t
      5. Prizes:\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
          \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
        1. Each Prize consists of one (1) $50 Hobby Lobby gift card. Shipping costs are included in the Prize.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
        2. If no eligible submissions are entered, no Prizes will be awarded. Samaritan’s Purse reserves the right to make a Prize substitution in the event that force majeure events make the Prize impossible or inadvisable in the sole discretion of Samaritan’s Purse. Force majeure as used herein means acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disaster, or other events of a similar nature or force.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
        3. Winners may not transfer or substitute a Prize except at Samaritan’s Purse’s sole discretion.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
        4. Winners are responsible for reporting and paying all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. It is the sole responsibility of winners to provide information to Samaritan’s Purse in order to facilitate receipt of a Prize, including completing and submitting any tax forms when necessary. It is also the sole responsibility of winners to satisfy any applicable reporting requirements.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/ol>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t
        5. Verification of Eligibility and Claiming of Prize\r\n\t\t\t\t\t
            \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
          1. Prize awards are subject to Samaritan’s Purse’s verification of winners’ identity and eligibility.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
          2. To receive the Prize, the winner must comply with instructions provided by Samaritan’s Purse in the Instagram story notifying the winner of their selection. The winner will be asked to send Samaritan’s Purse a Direct Message with their mailing address in order to receive the Prize by mail. If the direct message is not received by Samaritan’s Purse within five (5) calendar days of Samaritan’s Purse’s winner notification post, the Prize is forfeited. Do not<\/u> include any address or personal information in your social media comments.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
          3. In the event of a disqualification, Samaritan’s Purse, at its sole discretion, may award the Prize to an alternate Contestant.<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/ol>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t
