In poverty and in crisis, children often suffer the most. Since Samaritan\u2019s Purse was founded in 1970, we have helped countless suffering children caught in the midst of difficult circumstances, such as war, famine, and natural disasters. As we deliver relief, we bring with us the hope found only in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.<\/p>\r\n\t <\/div>\r\n\t

We provide help to boys and girls in desperate situations, including child soldiers, field workers, street children, and victims of trafficking. We work with Christian partners to protect vulnerable children and restore young victims of exploitation. We also support children in orphanages and spearhead child abuse\/trafficking prevention programs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n <\/a>

NUTRITION FOR LITTLE ONES.<\/strong> When children are desperately hungry they often need specially formulated food to save their lives and prevent lifelong problems. We also provide education and other help to pregnant and nursing mothers whose health will directly impact the health of their unborn and newborn children.<\/p>\r\n\r\n <\/a>

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD.<\/strong> Since 1993, more than 186 million boys and girls in over 160 countries and territories have experienced God\u2019s love through the power of simple shoe box gifts from Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan\u2019s Purse works with local churches and ministry partners to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n <\/a>

THE GREATEST JOURNEY.<\/strong> The Greatest Journey is a discipleship program for Operation Christmas Child shoebox recipients, teaching them to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ. Boys and girls enroll in a 12-lesson training that introduces them to salvation through faith in Christ and encourages them to grow in their faith.<\/p>\r\n\r\n <\/a>
