Official Contest Rules for Operation Christmas Child 30 Days of Prizes Contest<\/h2>\r\n\r\n

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING.<\/h3> \r\n \r\n
\r\n\r\n

By participating in this contest and submitting your comment to enter this contest (the \u201cContest\u201d), you (\u201cContestant\u201d) accept and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

  1. Dates:<\/strong>
    The Contest runs October 1, 2023 \u2013 October 30, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. EDT (\u201cContest Period\u201d).<\/li>\r\n\r\n
  2. Eligibility:<\/strong>
    The Contest is open only to legal residents of the continental United States who are 18 years or older and a member of the \u201cOfficial Operation Christmas Child Project Leaders\u201d Facebook® Group as of the Contest start date. You must comply with all Terms and Conditions. Employees, immediate family members of employees, and directors or contractors of Samaritan\u2019s Purse or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association are not eligible for prizes.<\/li>\r\n\r\n
  3. Submission Requirements:<\/strong>\r\n
      \r\n
    1. Samaritan\u2019s Purse will promote the Contest by posting on Facebook (a \u201cPromotional Post\u201d) on each day of the Contest Period. Contestants must post a Reply comment directly to the Samaritan\u2019s Purse Promotional Post (Contestant\u2019s comment is referred to as a \u201csubmitted comment\u201d).<\/li>\r\n
    2. You are encouraged to enter daily by submitting a comment for each Promotional Post for each day of the Contest Period, but only one submitted comment per post\/day. I.e., the maximum number of eligible submitted comments each Contestant could have during the Contest Period is thirty (30).<\/li>\r\n
    3. Submitted comments must be posted visible to all group members in \u201cOfficial Operation Christmas Child Project Leaders\u201d Facebook® Group.<\/li>\r\n
    4. You must be the sole, original author of your submitted comment.<\/li>\r\n
    5. Changes may not be made to a submitted comment once it has been posted.<\/li> \r\n
    6. Submitted comments must not contain any material that infringes another\u2019s rights, including without limitation material that violates intellectual property rights, including without limitation copyright, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights, or include trademarks, logos, insignia, location signage, photographs, artwork or sculptures, except those owned by Samaritan\u2019s Purse. Submitted comments must not include pictures or depictions of third parties, including without limitation minors, celebrities and friends who have not expressly authorized Contestant to display their image or likeness in any submitted comment.<\/li> \r\n
    7. Samaritan\u2019s Purse reserves the right to hide or delete any submitted comment for any reason.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n\r\n
    8. Submission Rights:<\/strong>You retain rights to your submitted comments; however, by entering the Contest, you grant Samaritan\u2019s Purse a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of your submitted comment, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed, in furtherance of Samaritan\u2019s Purse non-profit purpose. Samaritan\u2019s Purse is not obligated to provide any design credit, although it may choose to do so. Samaritan\u2019s Purse shall not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with any uses of the submitted comments.<\/li>\r\n\r\n
    9. Winner Selection:<\/strong>\r\n
        \r\n
      1. Submissions will be judged by Samaritan\u2019s Purse, in its sole discretion.<\/li>\r\n
      2. 169 winning submitted comments will be selected throughout the month based on their originality, relevance to the prompt in the Promotional Post, quality of the answer provided, and adherence to Contest submission requirements. Winners will be selected for each day, with the number of winners per day varying according to the number of prizes described below.<\/li>\r\n
      3. Winning Contestants (\u201cwinners\u201d) will be notified no later than November 3, 2023 on a rolling basis throughout the contest period. Notification will be made by Samaritan\u2019s Purse via Facebook comment to the winner through Facebook. The Facebook comment will provide further instructions for claiming the Prize.<\/li>\r\n
      4. Samaritan\u2019s Purse reserves the right to disqualify any submission for any reason, and winning submitted comments will be the final decision of Samaritan\u2019s Purse.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n\r\n
      5. Prizes:<\/strong>\r\n
          \r\n
        1. Prizes vary by day and consist of the following (shipping costs are included with the Prizes):\r\n
            \r\n
          1. October 1 prize: Thirty (30) winners will be selected to each receive one (1) carton containing 50 Operation Christmas Child branded cardboard shoeboxes.<\/li>\r\n
          2. October 2 prize: Two (2) winners will each receive one (1) $20 Hobby Lobby® gift card and one (1) yellow flashlight.<\/li>\r\n
          3. October 3 prize: Two (2) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed t-shirt (size to be selected by winner, subject to availability) and (1) Operation Christmas Child themed sticker.<\/li>\r\n
          4. October 4 prize: One (1) winner will receive two (2) Operation Christmas Child tumblers.<\/li>\r\n
          5. October 5 prize: Five (5) winners will each receive one (1) \u201cwow\u201d item bundle consisting of a soccer ball, pump, and stuffed animal.<\/li>\r\n
          6. October 6 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed tote bag.<\/li>\r\n
          7. October 7 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) pair of Operation Christmas Child themed socks and one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed camper mug.<\/li>\r\n
          8. October 8 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed fanny pack and one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed key ring.<\/li>\r\n
          9. October 9 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed lunch box.<\/li>\r\n
          10. October 10 prize: Five (5) winners will each receive two (2) $10 Dollar General® gift card.<\/li>\r\n
          11. October 11 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) pack of Ten (10) Operation Christmas Child themed coffee cups.<\/li>\r\n
          12. October 12 prize: Twelve (12) winners will each receive one (1) pack of twelve (12) plastic Operation Christmas Child branded shoebox.<\/li>\r\n
          13. October 13 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed tote bag.<\/li>\r\n
          14. October 14 prize: Three (3) winners will receive two (2) $10 Dollar General gift cards.<\/li>\r\n
          15. October 15 prize: One (1) winner will receive five (5) Operation Christmas Child themed aprons.<\/li>\r\n
          16. October 16 prize: Two (2) winners will each receive one (1) pair of bear buddies, one soccer stress ball, one The Greatest Journey water bottle and one t-shirt.<\/li>\r\n
          17. October 17 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed ornament.<\/li>\r\n
          18. October 18 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed t-shirt.<\/li>\r\n
          19. October 19 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child The Greatest Gift bundle consisting of The Greatest Gift booklet in various languages.<\/li>\r\n
          20. October 20 prize: Twenty (20) winners will each receive one (1) $20 Hobby Lobby® gift card.<\/li>\r\n
          21. October 21 prize: One (1) winner will receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed table cloth.<\/li>\r\n
          22. October 22 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed bracelet and one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed accessory pouch.<\/li>\r\n
          23. October 23 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed 365-day desk calendar.<\/li>\r\n
          24. October 24 prize: One (1) winner will receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed X-stand banner.<\/li>\r\n
          25. October 25 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed reusable bag with OCC Mylar Balloon Pack.<\/li>\r\n
          26. October 26 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed refrigerator magnet and one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed pack of sticky notes. <\/li>\r\n
          27. October 27 prize: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) of each: Operation Christmas Child themed journal, pen, and shopping tote.<\/li>\r\n
          28. October 28 prize: Two (2) winners will receive an insulated Operation Christmas Child themed water bottle and two (2) $10 Dollar General® gift cards.<\/li>\r\n
          29. October 29 prize: Ten (10) winners will each receive one (1) $10 Dollar General® Gift Card.<\/li>\r\n
          30. October 30 prize: Thirty (30) winners will each receive one (1) Operation Christmas Child themed ornament.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li> \r\n
          31. If no eligible submissions are entered for a particular day, no Prize(s) will be awarded for that day. Samaritan\u2019s Purse reserves the right to make a Prize substitution in the event that force majeure events make the Prize impossible or inadvisable in the sole discretion of Samaritan\u2019s Purse. Force majeure as used herein means acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disaster, or other events of a similar nature or force.<\/li>\r\n
          32. Winners may not transfer or substitute a Prize except at Samaritan\u2019s Purse\u2019s sole discretion.<\/li>\r\n
          33. Winners are responsible for reporting and paying all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. It is the sole responsibility of winners to provide information to Samaritan\u2019s Purse in order to facilitate receipt of a Prize, including completing and submitting any tax forms when necessary. It is also the sole responsibility of winners to satisfy any applicable reporting requirements.<\/li>\r\n \r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n\r\n
          34. Verification of Eligibility and Claiming of Prize:<\/strong>\r\n
              \r\n
            1. Prize awards are subject to Samaritan\u2019s Purse\u2019s verification of winners\u2019 identity and eligibility.<\/li>\r\n
            2. To receive a Prize, winners must comply with instructions provided by Samaritan\u2019s Purse in the Facebook comment notifying the winner of their selection. Winners will be asked to fill out a form with their mailing address in order to receive the Prize by mail. If the form is not received by Samaritan\u2019s Purse within three (3) calendar days of Samaritan\u2019s Purse\u2019s winner notification via Facebook comment, the Prize is forfeited. Do not include any address or personal information in your social media comments.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\r\n
            3. In the event of a disqualification, Samaritan\u2019s Purse, at its sole discretion, may award the Prize to an alternate Contestant.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n <\/li>\r\n\r\n

                    1. This Contest is void where prohibited.<\/li>\r\n
                    2. Information collected from you is subject to Samaritan\u2019s Purse\u2019s privacy policy.<\/li>\r\n
                    3. By entering the Contest, you give Samaritan\u2019s Purse permission to contact you regarding subject matter related to the Contest as well as the ministry work of Samaritan\u2019s Purse.<\/li>\r\n
                    4. Samaritan\u2019s Purse is vested with sole authority to interpret and apply the Official Contest Rules.<\/li>\r\n
