<hr class=\"light-bar\">\r\n                                                        <h2>Greetings <span>DART Members<\/span>,<\/h2>\r\n                                                    <\/header>\r\n                                                    <div class=\"inner\">\r\n                                                        <p>I'm constantly reminded and encouraged how the Lord is always\r\n                                                            in control, even when circumstances change and the needs are\r\n                                                            great. He has a plan, and His steadfast love never ceases.\r\n                                                        <\/p>\r\n\r\n                                                        <p>As I write this, I'm sitting in a pediatric intensive care\r\n                                                            unit with my very sick 4-year-old niece. My mind is filled\r\n                                                            with uncertainty about what lies ahead for her. But then my\r\n                                                            spirit is lifted as I consider how my family is being\r\n                                                            blessed with the same type of aid that Samaritan's Purse\r\n                                                            provides to beneficiaries across the globe. Friends and even\r\n                                                            strangers are delivering hot meals, blankets, pillows, and\r\n                                                            personal hygiene items to the hospital, and they each seem\r\n                                                            to arrive at just the right time to meet a need. It makes me\r\n                                                            realize anew just how impactful our work is in the lives of\r\n                                                            those who are hurting. As I watch doctors and nurses come\r\n                                                            and go with an endless stream of medicines and supplies, my\r\n                                                            heart breaks for those who are in desperate need of\r\n                                                            healthcare but are being treated in ill-equipped hospitals\r\n                                                            or ones that are without electricity or clean&nbsp;water.\r\n                                                        <\/p>\r\n\r\n                                                        <p>Over the last several months, DART has worked in North\r\n                                                            Africa, Armenia, Mexico, and Israel to help people affected\r\n                                                            by natural disasters, conflict, and displacements.\r\n                                                            Meanwhile, our Samaritan's Purse field offices have been\r\n                                                            busy working on the administrative details of these\r\n                                                            deployments. Fall is annual proposal and budget planning\r\n                                                            season for all of these offices, a time for strategizing\r\n                                                            about the locations and types of programming that will be\r\n                                                            most effective. Our team of burn\r\n                                                            care specialists provided surgical care to victims of a\r\n                                                            major gas explosion that resulted in 170 casualties and 160\r\n                                                            injured. The medical team treated a total of 85 patients,\r\n                                                            performed 477 procedures, and conducted 273 physical therapy\r\n                                                            sessions. In addition, over 35,000 beneficiaries were served\r\n                                                            by our partners with non-food items (NFI) that included\r\n                                                            17,000 blankets, 8,200 hygiene kits, and 7,500 solar lights.\r\n                                                            We also printed 50,000 Armenian-language Bibles in country\r\n                                                            to be distributed by our church&nbsp;partners.<\/p>\r\n\r\n                                                        <div class=\"callout-box\">\r\n                                                            <p><strong>Please continue to pray for all\r\n                                                                    the lives that\r\n                                                                    were affected\r\n                                                                    by this conflict and for the seeds of the Gospel\r\n                                                                    that were\r\n                                                                    planted through our work.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n                                                        <\/div>\r\n\r\n                                                        <hr class=\"light-bar\">\r\n\r\n                                                        <header id=\"israel\">\r\n                                                            <h3>Israel<\/h3>\r\n                                                        <\/header>\r\n\r\n                                                        <p>When Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, Samaritan's Purse\r\n                                                            immediately deployed a DART to meet the emergency needs of\r\n                                                            innocent civilians in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank who\r\n                                                            are suffering as a result of the war. We are partnering with\r\n                                                            over 50 churches and Christian organizations to pack\r\n                                                            thousands of food bags. Each is filled with groceries that\r\n                                                            will feed a family of five for a week. In addition, we\r\n                                                            provided thousands of hygiene kits, food vouchers, and hot\r\n                                                            meals for internally displaced families, and sent medical\r\n                                                            equipment, including defibrillators to search-and-rescue\r\n                                                            teams.<\/p>\r\n\r\n                                                        <p>When the terrorists attacked, they immediately targeted\r\n                                                            ambulances. They set some on fire and shot up other ones so\r\n                                                            they could not be used to help those who were suffering. In\r\n                                                            all, 14 ambulances were destroyed, and 11 EMTs were killed.\r\n                                                            Samaritan's Purse is replacing all 14 ambulances and\r\n                                                            providing an additional seven armor-plated ambulances to\r\n                                                            Magen David Adom, Israel's medical emergency system.<\/p>\r\n\r\n                                                        \r\n                <div class=\"video1\" id=\"video1\" style=\"position: relative; display: block;\">\r\n                    <div style=\"padding-top: 56.25%;\">\r\n                        <iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/players.sardius.media\/82aD088d0aAbEF4\/dotorg\/asset\/6341171521112\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"encrypted-media\" style=\"position: absolute; top: 0px; right: 0px; bottom: 0px; left: 0px; width: 100%; height: 100%;border:0;\"><\/iframe>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <noscript>\r\n                        <div>Please enable Javascript to watch this video<\/div>\r\n                <\/noscript>\r\n\r\n                                                        <p>In November, <a\r\n                                                                href=\"https:\/\/www.samaritanspurse.org\/es\/article\/franklin-graham-travels-to-israel-to-help-with-relief-after-october-massacre\/\">Franklin\r\n                                                                Graham traveled to three villages in\r\n                                                                southern Israel<\/a> that were attacked and pledged\r\n                                                            support to\r\n                                                            the survivors.<\/p>\r\n\r\n                                                        <div class=\"callout-box\">\r\n                                                            <p><strong>Please pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for\r\n                                                                    all of\r\n                                                                    those\r\n                                                                    affected by the war. Also pray for our teams and\r\n                                                                    ministry\r\n                                                                    partners as they serve as the hands and feet of\r\n                                                                    Jesus to\r\n                                                                    those in need.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n                                                        <\/div>\r\n\r\n                                                        <hr class=\"light-bar\">\r\n\r\n                                                        <header id=\"mexico\">\r\n                                                            <div>\r\n                                                                <h3>M\u00e9xico<\/h3>\r\n                                                            <\/div>\r\n                                                        <\/header>\r\n\r\n                                                        <p>Samaritan's Purse stood up an IMT on Oct. 29 and deployed a\r\n                                                            joint NAM\/Projects DART to Mexico in the wake of the\r\n                                                            devastation caused by Hurricane Otis, a deadly category 5\r\n                                                            storm that ravaged Acapulco.<\/p>\r\n\r\n                                                        <p>We are working closely with Legendarios and over 50 local\r\n                                                            churches, many of them Operation Christmas Child or Hispanic\r\n                                                            initiative partners, to coordinate emergency shelter, home\r\n                                                            repairs, and bulk food and clean water distributions. Four\r\n                                                            airlifts of relief supplies, containing over 180,000 pounds\r\n                                                            of cargo, have been sent.<\/p>\r\n\r\n                                                        <p>Nine water points have been established along local churches,\r\n                                                            with five additional systems in the process of being\r\n                                                            installed. Almost 240,000 pounds of food have been\r\n                                                            distributed. With help from the military and the local\r\n                                                            church, the team has also handed out 2,900 tarps; over\r\n                                                            10,000 household water filters\/buckets; 3,200 solar lights;\r\n                                                            1,422 hygiene kits; and 482 cooking kits.
