Our teams are caring for dozens of patients each day. We used our 757 and DC-8 aircraft to transport hundreds of thousands of pounds of ready-to-use supplemental and therapeutic nutrition packets. This nutrient-rich, peanut-based food is specially formulated to fight malnutrition and is used worldwide. We helped <strong>5,580<\/strong> families during <strong>13<\/strong> deployments, all while sharing the Gospel and seeing <strong>499<\/strong> people receive Jesus&nbsp;Christ as their&nbsp;Savior.<\/p>\r\n            <p>Horrific flash floods along the Guadalupe River in Texas resulted in more than 130 deaths and damage to many homes. Our teams immediately responded and began serving people like Bonnie and Allen Spillers, who were stranded and unable to evacuate when floodwaters rapidly engulfed their home and&nbsp;vehicle.<\/p>\r\n            <p>\u201cThe water was coming toward us with white caps,\u201d Bonnie said. \u201cIt was&nbsp;raging.\u201d<\/p>\r\n            <p>All they could do was cling to each other and watch their personal belongings slosh from room to room around the house. They were eventually rescued by local&nbsp;firefighters.<\/p>\r\n            <p>Bonnie didn\u2019t know where to turn for assistance in cleaning out the house, and she was relieved when the orange-shirted Samaritan\u2019s Purse volunteers serving her next-door neighbor asked if she also needed&nbsp;help.<\/p>\r\n            <p>A team was soon at her home scraping mud from floors, hauling out damaged furniture, ripping out drywall, and spraying for mold. Bonnie believes the team was sent by&nbsp;God.<\/p>\r\n            <p>\u201cIt means so much that they are willing to come into muddy, mold-ridden, nasty situations and help,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s a God&nbsp;thing.\u201d<\/p>\r\n         <\/div>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n   <\/section>\r\n   <section class=\"space-large fade\">\r\n      <div class=\"space\">\r\n         <h2 style=\"margin-top: 2.618em\">Hurricane Helene Rebuild and&nbsp;Recovery<\/h2>\r\n         <figure class=\"triggered-content\">\r\n            \r\n                <div class=\"video3\" id=\"video3\" style=\"position: relative; display: block;\">\r\n                    <div style=\"padding-top: 56.25%;\">\r\n                        <iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/players.sardius.media\/82aD088d0aAbEF4\/dotorg\/asset\/DF6A75288B4F95982FE6b0eB80D7\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"encrypted-media\" style=\"position: absolute; top: 0px; right: 0px; bottom: 0px; left: 0px; width: 100%; height: 100%;border:0;\"><\/iframe>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <noscript>\r\n                        <div>Please enable Javascript to watch this video<\/div>\r\n                <\/noscript>\r\n         <\/figure>\r\n         <div class=\"content-trigger space\">\r\n            <p>Samaritan\u2019s Purse remains on the ground more than a year after Hurricane Helene\u2019s catastrophic hit. We have constructed <strong>eight<\/strong> new homes, replaced <strong>30<\/strong> mobile homes, and repaired <strong>55<\/strong>&nbsp;houses.<\/p>\r\n            <p>Robin Holcomb remembers crouching down as trees toppled onto her mobile home, tearing through the roof and exposing all her personal belongings to the relentless rain. She was alone in the dark as she waited for the storm to&nbsp;pass.<\/p>\r\n            <p>When it was finally over, she realized that everything in her home was ruined. She felt lonely and vulnerable. \u201cYou don\u2019t know which way to turn or who to go to. You\u2019re just left there like you are nothing. It\u2019s hurtful,\u201d Robin&nbsp;said.<\/p>\r\n            <p>But once Samaritan\u2019s Purse arrived to walk alongside her, Robin was no longer alone. We replaced her mobile home with a specially designed model fitted with double insulation and windows that can withstand winds up to 100 mph, which will help keep her safe during future&nbsp;storms.<\/p>\r\n            <p>\u201cEverything in the home is of the highest quality because we are giving to the homeowners in Jesus\u2019 Name. We want them to see that God is always there,\u201d said Isaac Watson, a staff member who worked on Robin\u2019s&nbsp;home.<\/p>\r\n            <p>Our staff and volunteers welcomed Robin home by gathering to pray and dedicate the new house for God\u2019s&nbsp;glory.<\/p>\r\n            <p>\u201cAs we dedicate these homes, we pray that the presence of the Holy Spirit will be tangible to the people who are living here, to the neighbors, and the whole community,\u201d said Megan Powell, Helene rebuild volunteer coordinator. \u201cWe want to be a beacon of the grace and mercy of our&nbsp;Father.\u201d<\/p>\r\n            <div class=\"stat-box card\">\r\n               <p>Eight homes have been constructed <span>since hurricane Helene\u2019s catastrophic&nbsp;hit<\/span><\/p>\r\n            <\/div>\r\n         <\/div>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n   <\/section>\r\n   <section class=\"space-large fade\">\r\n      <div class=\"space\">\r\n         <figure class=\"triggered-content\">\r\n            <img decoding=\"async\" srcset=\"https:\/\/s3.theark.cloud\/sp-comm-arkfiles\/website\/images\/2025\/dm-year-end\/2555CB-L-375_S.jpg 800w,https:\/\/s3.theark.cloud\/sp-comm-arkfiles\/website\/images\/2025\/dm-year-end\/2555CB-L-375_M.jpg 1200w,https:\/\/s3.theark.cloud\/sp-comm-arkfiles\/website\/images\/2025\/dm-year-end\/2555CB-L-375_L.jpg 1900w\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.theark.cloud\/sp-comm-arkfiles\/website\/images\/2025\/dm-year-end\/2555CB-L-375_M.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\r\n         <\/figure>\r\n         <div class=\"content-trigger space\">\r\n            <h2 style=\"margin-top: 2.618em\">Operation Christmas Child and <i>The&nbsp;Greatest Journey<\/i><\/h2>\r\n            <p>In 2025, more than 11.9 million children in over 100 countries received shoebox gifts and heard about the eternal hope of the Gospel. More than 5 million children participated in <i>La Gran Aventura<\/i> discipleship program and learned about God\u2019s Word and how to share their faith with family and friends. We also trained 305,538 teachers of <i>La Gran  Aventura.<\/i><\/p>\r\n            <p>Zahira was often treated as an outcast because she is deaf. Her isolation increased when her family moved from Cuba to the Dominican Republic, and she struggled to adjust to life in a new country. She became withdrawn and&nbsp;angry.<\/p>\r\n         <\/div>\r\n         <figure class=\"triggered-content\">\r\n            <img decoding=\"async\" srcset=\"https:\/\/s3.theark.cloud\/sp-comm-arkfiles\/website\/images\/2025\/dm-year-end\/2555CB-H-567_S.jpg 800w,https:\/\/s3.theark.cloud\/sp-comm-arkfiles\/website\/images\/2025\/dm-year-end\/2555CB-H-567_M.jpg 1200w,https:\/\/s3.theark.cloud\/sp-comm-arkfiles\/website\/images\/2025\/dm-year-end\/2555CB-H-567_L.jpg 1900w\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.theark.cloud\/sp-comm-arkfiles\/website\/images\/2025\/dm-year-end\/2555CB-H-567_M.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\r\n         <\/figure>\r\n         <div class=\"content-trigger space\">\r\n            <p>But everything changed when Zahira was invited to an Operation Christmas Child outreach event for deaf girls and boys. She was delighted to receive a shoebox gift filled with special items. The Gospel was shared in sign language during the event, and it was the first time Zahira learned about salvation through repentance and faith in Jesus&nbsp;Christ. She felt overwhelmed by God\u2019s love for her and prayed to receive Jesus as her Lord and&nbsp;Savior.<\/p>\r\n            <p>\u201cI was very joyful and happy,\u201d Zahira said. \u201cWhen we started talking about Jesus, I cried because of all the bad things I had done. But when I accepted the Lord, He&nbsp;helped&nbsp;me.\u201d<\/p>\r\n            <p>Zahira attended <i>La Gran Aventura<\/i> and learned more about how to let God guide her and how to surrender every area of her life to Him. She encouraged people to read the Bible and to trust God. Before long, her mother came to faith in Jesus.<\/p>\r\n            <p>Zahira\u2019s life was filled with God\u2019s peace and joy because language barriers were overcome and the Gospel was communicated in a way she could understand. World Medical Mission was started in 1977 to address the global need for medical care while pointing people to Jesus&nbsp;Christ, the Great&nbsp;Physician.<\/p>\r\n            <p>This year, a World Medical Mission team came alongside staff at Chogoria Hospital in Kenya to facilitate urological surgeries as well as dental fillings, extractions, and cleanings. Most importantly, every patient had an opportunity to meet with hospital chaplains to hear the Gospel and to receive a Bible. We praise God that more than 60 people came to faith in&nbsp;Christ.<\/p>\r\n            <p>\u201cWe have seen people who would have otherwise suffered in silence. But when they heard about this medical and dental campaign, they decided to seek help and their lives have been changed,\u201d said Moses Kamau, a chaplain at Chogoria. \u201cThe hospital is becoming a lighthouse. People want to encounter what is happening here. To help address this critical need, Samaritan\u2019s Purse drilled or rehabilitated <strong>920<\/strong> water points in <strong>11<\/strong> countries in&nbsp;2025.<\/p>\r\n            <p>Before Samaritan\u2019s Purse provided clean water in Hawa\u2019s* village, the 23-year-old housekeeper had to use water from an unprotected well. We also provided hygiene and sanitation training that has improved the overall health of&nbsp;families.<\/p>\r\n            <p>Most importantly, the people of this island community experienced God\u2019s love through our&nbsp;work.<\/p>\r\n            <p>\u201cSamaritan\u2019s Purse supported us without asking for anything in return,\u201d Seydou said. \u201cThey freely provided this water treatment system, and that unconditional kindness has touched our hearts.
