In Memory Of
Daisy Hepburn - Kansas City, MO

Daisy Juanita Hepburn was born in Towanda, Pennsylvania, on Nov. 21, 1931, and was promoted to glory on Oct. 19, 2021.

Daisy was the fourth of five girls born to Salvation Army officers Frank and Evangeline Guldenschuh. She married David Hughes Hepburn on March 22, 1951. They adopted two children, David Hughes Hepburn II and Lois Elizabeth (Hepburn) Magnuson. Daisy served alongside David in the Salvation Army on the East Coast and Puerto Rico. After their ministry in the Salvation Army, their love story took them to Minneapolis, San Francisco, Scottsdale, and eventually to Kansas City, Missouri.

Daisy was a dynamic speaker who motivated and encouraged women everywhere. She authored numerous books and Bible studies and was passionate about proclaiming Christ to women around the world and giving them tools to serve Him in ordinary ways that resulted in extraordinary moments.

Daisy is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Eva; her loving husband, David; and two sisters, Doris Fikkert and Ruth Smith. Daisy is survived by her sisters, Jane Regan and Emily Klenk; her son, David Hepburn II; daughter, Lois (and Bryan) Magnuson; and her grandchildren, Emily (and Nathan) Robinett, Brianna (and Kyle) Lindenmeyer, and DJ Hepburn and Sam Magnuson; and many nieces and nephews.

Daisy will be remembered for many things, but most importantly that she always shared the Good News of Jesus Christ with everyone she met, she always wore a daisy, and she loved ice cream.

"Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are; help us to spend them as we should" (Psalm 90:12, TLB)
