Volunteer-National Collection Week

Volunteers are needed across the country to collect millions of shoe boxes in only one week.

More than 3,000 official shoe box collection sites around the country collect thousands of prayerfully-packed gifts in a single week. This amazing feat is only possible with the help of more than 50,000 collection site volunteers each year.

Volunteers are needed this year to provide a hospitable, convenient location in the community for donors to bring their gifts. Volunteers at these sites are responsible for the careful packaging and transportation of shoe boxes to one of the seven Processing Centers across the country. Contact your regional office for more information about volunteering at a collection site during National Collection Week.

Opportunities to volunteer in any of these locations are available to those who wish to share the love of Christ with the many generous donors who pack shoe box gifts. Responsibilities can include cheerfully greeting donors, carefully packaging gifts, unloading shoe boxes from vehicles, and tracking valuable ministry data.
