Holiday Fundraising Steps

Holiday Celebrations

What better way to celebrate a special occasion than by making an impact around the world in Jesus’ Name? Let your next birthday, baby shower, Christmas party, or other gathering be a way to raise awareness and funds for the work God is doing through Samaritan’s Purse.

Step 1
Choose Your Project

Choose a Samaritan’s Purse project or program to support. (Remember: You can always give to “most needed” or purchase items from our gift catalog all year long.)

Step 2
Plan Your Celebration

Plan your event and set the date. Make sure to include your plan for gifts on your invitation.
For Example: In lieu of presents, Sarah would love to help feed hungry babies around the world.

Step 3
Choose Your Method of Collection

Decide if you want to collect the funds at your party or direct guests to donate online. If you’re collecting funds online to reach a certain goal level, set up your fundraising page.

How to Mail Your Funds

Collect the money yourself, and when you’re finished, send a check to Samaritan’s Purse at the following address:
P.O. Box 3000
Boone, NC 28607

How to Create a Webpage

Create your own fundraising webpage. There, you’ll be able to describe your event and goal in details. Send the link to your friends and family so that they can donate electronically.

Step 4
Let the Fun Begin!

Send out your invites and enjoy your party! Feel free to theme the event after your fundraiser (such as playing pin the tail on the goat if you’re raising money for families to receive a dairy animal or hosting a sewing class activity when raising money for vocational training for vulnerable women).

Have fun!

Serving the Lord is a joyful experience, and those who come in contact with your fundraiser will find your enthusiasm contagious.

Tell us about your fundraising goal or ask questions.
