Kudjip Nazarene Hospital in Papua New Guinea is looking for volunteers to serve for a minimum of four weeks in a variety of specialties that include: Anesthesiology, Colon and Rectal Surgery, Dentistry, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine / General Practitioner,Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Hematology, Internal Medicine, Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), OB/GYN, Occupational Therapy, Oncology, Orthopedic Physician/Surgeon, Otolaryngology, Pediatrics, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Surgery – Orthopedic, Physical Therapy, and Pulmonology.

The 130-bed district hospital offers full basic services for both inpatients and outpatients functioning as both a local primary facility as well as a referral center. Kudjip provides medical, surgical, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatric, emergency, and trauma care to its patients with an occupancy rate of 98% to 100%.

The individual volunteer is responsible for all costs associated with the trip. World Medical Mission personnel will provide assistance in arranging all travel, including international flights and in-country travel, as well as any needed medical licensure, visas, or permits.

A three-month notice is required due to medical licensing.
