
Daniel Emmet Tingle, age 78 of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away April 15, 2024. He was born October 28, 1945 in Los Angeles, California. The son of Eugene and Lois Tingle. He was a loving husband, father, Pop Pops, friend and mentor.
Dan lived his life to the fullest. He was a Christian and loved Jesus, his Lord and Savior. He loved to share stories, travel, grill, play tennis, and was a renowned baker. Cheesecakes, chocolate chip cookies and homemade ice cream were his specialties.
His military service was in the Navy Construction Battalion. He continued serving his country as owner of a precision machine company which supplied parts for NASA and the aerospace industry. He later became a successful real estate broker and owner of Mountaineer Realty, LLC.
Dan and Pat moved to Tennessee in 1979 where they thrived. Here they made a home, and found it to be a beautiful place to live, worship, work and play.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Tingle of Crossville, Tennessee; son Ryan Tingle and his wife Lindsey; and two granddaughters, Emma and Maggie of Honey Brook, Pennsylvania. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Michael Tingle and Patrick Tingle.
Funeral will be held Monday, April 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. and services at 1:00 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will follow on Wednesday, April 24th at 12:30 p.m. EST.
