In Memory Of
Judith Armstrong Christensen - The Woodlands, TX

Judith Gayle Christensen, beloved wife, mother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on February 13, 2026, after a life richly lived. Judy’s unwavering faith in God was the cornerstone of her life, shaping her every action and radiating through her service to her church and community. She cherished her church family, finding strength and inspiration in worship, fellowship, and acts of kindness.

Born in 1946 to William and Gayle Armstrong in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Judy grew up in Oklahoma and was a proud Oklahoma State University Cowboy, where she earned her degree in Home Economics. She worked many different jobs over the years, and at the time of her death, was still trying to decide what she wanted to be when she grew up. After living in Kansas City, Duncan, Tulsa, and London, Judy settled in The Woodlands, Texas where she enjoyed socializing, serving her church, crafting, and most recently and obsessively, Mah Jongg.

Judy was the devoted wife of Terry David Christensen for 57 years, and the loving mother of Heather and Steven. In addition to her children, Judy is survived by her brother, William “Bill” Armstrong, and sister-in-law Roberta; sister-in-law Jeanne DeGoot and her husband Simon; and nieces Jaime, Maren, Michelle, and Christine. Her family and friends will carry her memory in their hearts, forever grateful for her love and humor.

Those who knew Judy will remember her for her unique and colorful personality and colorful style (particularly earrings!). She brought a spirited sense of humor and a loving eccentricity to every gathering, lighting up the room with her shining smile and boisterous laugh.

Judy’s legacy is one of faith, love, and irreplaceable color—a true original who will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
