PRISCILLA EVELYN STONER — January 7, 2025
Priscilla Evelyn Stoner passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. She faced it with grace, faith, and her signature blend of strength and humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sisters, Diane and Kathe.
Priscilla was an explorer of life, which was evident in her wide-ranging and ever-evolving career path. From her early days as a high school steakhouse hostess to serving as a case manager for troubled adolescents, she followed compassion wherever it led. She later took to the skies as a Delta Airlines flight attendant, navigated complexity as a medical appeals specialist, and ultimately embraced entrepreneurship—owning American Made Gifts in Rice Village, which later transformed into a successful vintage event rental business. Reinvention was one of her many talents.
Her passions included design, arts and crafts, and creating beauty in both spaces and relationships. Above all, her greatest love was Jesus, who anchored her life and gave her peace.
Priscilla deeply loved her family and friends. Her husband, John, was the love of her life, and she cherished her sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
There will be a private family funeral.
