Mr. Stephen Brian Greene, 67, of Wilkesboro, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center.
Stephen was born on September 21, 1957, in Winston-Salem to Edward Franklin and Frances Curlee Greene.
In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Greene; his brother, Richard Greene; and his son, Matthew Greene.
He is survived by his wife, Vanya Meade Greene, of the home; his sons, Trevor Greene (Deborah) and Trenton Greene; his daughter, Lindsay Greene; his granddaughter, Lillian Greene; and his chosen grandchildren, Lorelai, Aiden, and Adalynn.
Steve was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a proud graduate of Clemson University, and a dedicated Tigers fan who never missed a game, always watching with his "lucky puppy," Dabo, by his side. Throughout his career, Steve worked for Lowe’s, New York Life Insurance, and also owned and operated Budget Credit Cars and Greene Management.
The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life, which will be held on December 1, 2024, from 2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. at The 1915, located at 201 W Main St, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
