Tennessee Tornado Response Press Kit

When deadly tornados hit Nashville, Tennessee on March 3, Samaritan’s Purse responded immediately—deploying three Disaster Relief Units to the areas hardest hit by the storm. Thousands of volunteers are serving with Samaritan’s Purse to bring physical relief and share God’s love with families who are hurting.

    “The devastation is unbelievable. You can see where the tornadoes came down through Cookeville, Lebanon, and all the way to Nashville. it's just complete devastation. Entire homes, communities, and trailer parks are destroyed,” said Edward Graham. “God’s entrusted us and equipped us with materials and people to allow us to respond quickly when there are storms. As we're serving we have the opportunity to put our arm around them and to share the hope that we have in Jesus. That’s why we’re here.”
