In Memory Of
Alma Foth - Cedarburg, WI

On Saturday, September 21, 2024, our dearest mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and beloved friend was carried gently into Jesus’ arms, at the age of 97 years, to at last be with Jesus in her eternal home. We celebrate her overwhelming joy as she now worships God in His glorious presence.

Alma was born on January 1, 1927 in Nova Wiesch, Poland, to Gustav and Berta Prezlaff, and was the nineth of 10 daughters. After surviving many difficulties during WWII, Alma married Henry Foth at a refugee camp in Germany on September 6, 1947. They emigrated to America in 1952, and eventually settled in Cedarburg, Wisconsin to raise their four children.

It was the joy of Alma’s life to cook for her ever-growing family. Her table was always filled with amazing food and a good measure of laughter. She loved the Lord with all her heart and served others generously.

For over 20 years, Alma worked as a CNA at Lasata Care Center. She loved working there, providing loving care to the elderly residents. The family in turn would like to thank Lasata, Horizon Hospice and Alma’s nurse, Julia, for the care they provided during the last year.

She is survived by three children, Walter (JoAnn) Foth, Willi (Shirley) Foth and Helen (David) Nitschke; as well as 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, her son, Norbert, her parents and her sisters.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m. at Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. A memorial service will immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be her granddaughter, Reverend Sarah Gerbers. Following the service there will be a private graveside service for the family where Alma will be laid to rest next to her husband.
