Kenneth G. Zmuda - Bloomington, MN

Kenneth Greggory Zmuda, age 76, passed away on October 15, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. Even though we will miss him, it brings us so much peace and joy knowing he is in the loving arms of His Lord and Savior.

He has won the race and entered the next phase of truly living free from the strains of this life and seeing His Savior face to face.

We will all be together one day!!!

Ken was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. His life's work was serving others through his faith, commitment, and generosity.
Ken was born on November 16, 1947, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Michael and Dorothy Zmuda. He married the love of his life, Nanci, in 1968. They celebrated 56 wonderful years together this past August 24th. They welcomed two children, Jon and Traci.

A shining example of service, he spent more than 60 years in the auto repair industry. Establishing Z Tech Automobile Service in 1992, he served his local community as a fair, friendly and trusted mechanic for more than 26 years. With upward of 3,000 customers, his honest and quality service lead many to his doors.

As a man of unwavering faith, he devoted his life to serving Jesus. Ken was actively involved in his church as an elder, head usher, Tuesday seniors men's group, two Bible Study Fellowship groups. Serving others was at the core of who he was, touching the lives of many. His caring nature, integrity, and humble spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He will be missed by many.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Dorothy; and his brothers, Richard, Michael and Fred. He is survived by his loving wife, Nanci of 56 years; son, Jon Zmuda; daughter, Traci Couillard (Jay); granddaughters, Danika Tollefson (Blake), Ana Hoffman, Treva Hoffman, Ryleigh Couillard; great-granddaughters, Baker and Emma Tollefson; siblings, Jeannette Goodmanson and Steve Zmuda.

Ken Zmuda's Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., and service at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon reception for family and friends will follow in the Atrium. Cedar Valley Church, 8600 Bloomington Ave, Bloomington, MN 55425.
Please wear dark green in honor of Ken's favorite color. There will also be an open mic time during the service so come ready to share your favorite memories of Ken.
