In Memory Of
Randall (Randy) Paul Becker - Windsor, CO

Randall (Randy) Paul Becker, 62, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on April 13, 2020, after a courageous 50 month battle with glioblastoma multiforme. Randy was born on Nov. 16, 1957, in Sterling, Colorado, to Jacob and Anna Becker.

Randy attended school in Wiggins, Colorado, where he played a variety of sports. He grew up on the family farm by Hoyt, Colorado, where they raised multiple crops, and he spent many hours with his family singing and rewriting songs while driving tractors. He had a love for music and had a knack for remembering every single word to any song ever written.

Randy was a very hard worker. His time on the farm, in the oilfield, and as a crane operator were all jobs he enjoyed, but his lifelong skill was in sales. He had a gift of connecting with his customers with his easygoing personality, his warm smile, hearty laugh, and his ability to understand their needs. In 1993, Randy and his wife, Elesa, started their first business owning water trucks in the oilfield. They sold their trucks in 1997, and in 1999 they started their existing business, Becker Safety and Supply. It was their passion to build a family business that reflected their faith and to provide an environment and service that was a blessing to their customers, vendors, and their team of employees. Randy was highly respected by all who knew him. He was a man of strong faith, integrity, honesty, humor, and kindness, and he gave the best hugs. He was known for his many sayings that were affectionately referred to as "Randyisms." What Randy loved most of all was spending time with his family, whether they were traveling, playing cards, or golfing.

Randy married the love of his life, Elesa Shoemaker, on Nov. 18, 1993. During their marriage, they were able to work side by side and share their passion of the family business as well as in the ministries they led together through their church. Randy and Elesa loved being involved in leading high school, college age, and young marrieds groups where many lifelong relationships were made. Randy was very involved with his children, coaching their sports and helping with their 4-H projects. He was a dad that never missed an event of theirs and always told them how proud he was of them. Most important to him was leading his family spiritually and teaching them to serve and love the Lord. He led by example as an AWANA leader and commander, as an elder at Galeton Community Church, and as a board member at The Resource Center in Greeley. For the past eight years, Randy and Elesa worshiped and served together with their church family at Timberline Windsor.

Randy is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Elesa, and his children, Anthony (Michelle) Becker, Devin (Crimson) Becker, and Bradee (CJ) Gregg; grandchildren, Levi, Molly, Samuel, and John Becker, Esmae Becker and Liam Becker (due in July), and Olivia Gregg; siblings Kenneth (Carol) Becker, Sandra (Robert) Baker, Barbara (Jerry) Bass, Daniel (Cheryl) Becker; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by in-laws Jack and Viola Shoemaker, Jacque (Mike) Weimer, Debra (Gene) Andrews, and Russell (Cindy) Shoemaker, along with in-law nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, many dear friends, and bonus kids. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronald.

A Celebration of Life service is pending until further notice.
