Build His Kingdom.
Help Change the World
You want to change the world. We can help. From running a marathon to hosting a bake sale, your abilities can glorify God. Start by creating a fundraising campaign following the simple steps below. Together we can reach some of the most desperate and remote places on earth in the Name of Jesus Christ.
How to Get Started
1. Find your passion.
When disasters ravage countries around the world or strike communities at home, our response teams hit the ground—often within hours—with food, medicine, clean water, and other life-saving relief. In some of the hardest-hit places we stay and help rebuild, all with the purpose of sharing God’s redeeming love. Learn more about Samaritan’s Purse ministry projects here, and choose any that are special to you. Remember, you can always give to “where most needed” or purchase items from our gift catalog all year long.
2. Use your gifts.
Sign up for a local event like a 5K race or triathlon, create your own goal (such as Biking Across America), ask people for donations instead of birthday gifts, or design your own creative fundraising idea.
Create a Campaign Website:
Use your website to describe your event and goal in detail. We’ll guide you through the process. Then send the link to your family so that they can donate electronically.
3. Start your campaign.
Tell us who you are and which project you plan to support. If you’re collecting funds online, set up your fundraising page. There, you’ll be able to describe your event and goal in detail. Send the link to your friends and family so that they can donate electronically. You can also send your check to us at P.O. Box 3000 Boone, N.C. 28607.
4. Spread the word.
Share your fundraising link with family and friends through email and on social media and ask people to share your story.
Tell Us Your Story
When others “go and do likewise” (Luke 10:37), we want to hear about it. Share your story with us on Facebook and Twitter. It may inspire someone else to support Samaritan’s Purse as we help in Jesus’ Name.
If you have questions or need advice on your fundraiser, please email us or call us at 1.800.528.1980 and ask for Creative Engagement Specialist.
