Samaritan’s Purse is responding in Jesus’ Name to the recent storms in Marked Tree, Arkansas, located in the northeast corner of the state.
The Marked Tree community recently sustained substantial tree and debris damage, and many are still without power with temperatures expected to reach triple digits. Samaritan’s Purse has deployed a disaster relief unit—a tractor-trailer filled with relief equipment and supplies—and will field volunteer teams to help homeowners with cutting fallen trees and debris removal. First Baptist Church of Marked Tree is our host church for this response in Arkansas.
Many families are recovering from these violent storms and need help. Please consider volunteering to help as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in Arkansas.
As the work in Marked Tree begins and our response in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, continues, pray for the homeowners most impacted by these storms and pray for Samaritan’s Purse volunteers and staff as they serve in Jesus’ Name.
