Albert Anzardo - Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Alberto “Albert” Anzardo, 80, went home to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his family on Friday August 11, 2023.
  
Born on November 22, 1942, in Holguin, Cuba, Albert immigrated with his family to Miami, Florida in 1952. A few years after graduating from Miami Jackson High School, he enlisted in
the United States Marine Corps in 1964 and served as a sergeant during the Vietnam War, where he received the Purple Heart and was later awarded the Distinguished Service Medal by the state of New Jersey for his actions during combat. After his service, he made South Jersey his home and in 1972 founded a successful business, Albert’s Awning & Upholstery, now operated by two of his sons.

In his free time, Albert loved playing golf. He was an active and
respected member of the community, in the American Legion and Wounded Warrior Project, as well as a pastor, deacon, and elder of several churches over the years. He loved his Lord and Savior, and the United States of America. Above all, Albert was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.
  
Albert is survived by the love of his life and wife of nearly 50 years, Nancylee; their children and spouses, Matthew and Ivona, Andrew and Lauren Domenick, Jason and Kristen, and Jonathan and Kirsten; his sister, Aleida Crance; and his cherished grandchildren, Thomas, Stephanie, Trevor, Benjamin, Kaiah, Harper, Amelie, and Talia.
 
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Melba Morales; his sister, Cruzita; and his grandson, Jude.
 
A memorial service will be held at Ocean City Baptist Church at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday August 19, 2023, with a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. beforehand.
