Sandra Juanice Linville, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away April 24, 2024, at 4:07 a.m. She was home with her family by her side, holding her tightly and lifting her in prayer. Sandra was born October 24, 1948, to the late A.D. and Laconia Veazey Pigg, in Columbus, Mississippi.
Sandra was a faithful member of King Spring Baptist Church in Smyrna, Georgia, where she raised her daughters and lovingly taught the 70’s to Heaven Sunday School Class. After moving to Acworth, she became a member of Kennesaw First Baptist Church were she attended regularly.
Sandra was a 1967 graduate of Desert High School while living on Edwards Air Force Base in California. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Masters in Education (K-12). Teaching was her passion and her love was felt by every student in Tennessee, Florida and Georgia.
Sandra loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. To know her, was to love her. She never met a stranger or passed up an opportunity to witness for Jesus. She had a servant’s heart and was a friend and was known as “Mama Sandy” to many.
She raised three beautiful daughters, Shelly Linville (Robert) Bryan, Rebecca (Troy) Perkins and Jennifer (James) Linville, with unwavering love and devotion. She adored her precious grandchildren, Logan (Carly) Bryan, Austin (Kaelyn) Bryan, Alexis (Cameron) Hughes, Addison (Tanner) Henke, Landon Perkins, and Carver Linville; and great-grandchildren, Patton Bryan, Parker Bryan, Houston Bryan, Sterling Hughes, Mille Bryan, Beckett Hughes, Jax Bryan, Langsten Hughes and Cruz Henke.
Sandra was preceded in death by her infant son, Michael Phillips; her parents; brother, Dennerle Pigg; and sister, Sherron Eddlemon.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Mike Metzger will officiate the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. with interment immediately following.
Serving as pallbearers, Robert Bryan, Troy Perkins, James Bowes, Logan Bryan, Austin Bryan, Landon Perkins, Carver Linville and Patton Bryan.
