Apprenticeship Program

Applications will open soon.

The purpose of the Apprenticeship Program is to develop talent and mentor future Samaritan’s Purse staff.

Apprenticeships kick-start a career through hands-on learning from an expert in their field.

Apprentices will have the chance to quickly build their professional network while honing their technical skills. After training, apprentices will both collaborate in and spearhead ministry wide projects.

Apprenticeship opportunities equip professionals for future leadership within Samaritan’s Purse.

Through presentations from top executives, simulations, and projects, apprentices will grow in the competencies that define a professional at Samaritan’s Purse and will gain the knowledge and tools they need to serve effectively wherever they are assigned.

Apprenticeship Tracks

  • Programs: Develop and practice fundamental skills of managing long-term relief programming through program proposal development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Operations: Support field-based programming through procurement, vendor vetting and management, logistics, base management, asset management, and warehousing.

  • Security: Research, develop, implement, and maintain contextualized international security assessments and recommendations based on political, geographic, and cultural variables.

Once selected, apprentices will earn a full-time salary with benefits and be placed on a career track based on previous work experience, academic background, and natural aptitude.
