N.C.- based Samaritan’s Purse Expands Relief Efforts for Typhoon-ravaged Southern Philippines (Press Release)

BOONE, N.C., Dec. 14, 2012 – A Samaritan’s Purse disaster relief team arrived today in the Philippines to ramp up emergency aid to communities devastated by Typhoon Bopha. Immediately after the storm hit, the international Christian relief organization began working with local partners to help meet the critical needs of storm survivors by providing emergency relief kits. The kits are filled with rice, canned goods, milk, noodles, pots and pans for cooking, soap and plastic containers.
