A Cambodian family’s journey to faith through the gift of goats from Samaritan's Purse.
For years, El Sara’s family lived under the strain of unmet needs. Paying debts felt overwhelming, and providing for her children’s education seemed impossible.
“I didn’t know who to rely on. I didn’t know what to do,” she said. “I decided to pray to God.”
In the midst of that uncertainty, Samaritan’s Purse came alongside her family through a goat livelihood program. As she saw how God began to provide for her through the goats, she saw a practical way forward with food, income, and stability. She began to learn what it meant to trust in the Lord. “Life is different than before,” she said. “What I thought was difficult, it faded away. I decided to believe in God ever since.”
