A North Carolina couple praises God for their new home dedicated by Samaritan's Purse.
When Hurricane Helene ripped through western North Carolina, it brought down a massive tree that crashed through the roof of Hala Kahili’s home in Swannanoa. Relentless rain poured through the damaged ceiling, and mold quickly spread, making the home unlivable.
When Hala learned that Samaritan’s Purse would provide her and her husband with a new home, she was thrilled. She was even more excited when she entered the new mobile dwelling for the first time.
“I’m grateful for everything God has given to me,” Hala said. “Thank you so much, volunteers and Samaritan’s Purse, for everything you do for me and my family.”
Watch the video above to share in Hala’s joy.
Please pray for those who are still recovering from the horrific storm and for our rebuild teams as they serve as the hands and feet of Jesus.
