Samaritan’s Purse is responding in Catawba County, North Carolina, where heavy rain caused dangerous and destructive floodwaters.

Since June 15 our teams have been helping in Jesus’ Name as we mud-out water-damaged homes. We praise God for how He is working in the Hickory area and are thankful for each of our volunteers.

Watch the story of Ann Marie Spuller (video above) and learn how she came to receive the Lord Jesus Christ during this response.

U.S. Disaster Relief Samaritan's Purse mobilizes and equips thousands of volunteers to provide emergency aid to U.S. victims of wildfires, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. In the aftermath of major storms, we often stay behind to rebuild houses for people with nowhere else to turn for help.
