What is Love?

February 9, 2015 •

God’s sacrificial and eternal love is the kind of love Samaritan's Purse is called to take to people around the world.

Love comes in all shapes and sizes—from an encouraging word to grand gestures and gifts. But it’s God’s ultimate picture of love through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ that reminds us of the calling we have on our lives.

At Samaritan’s Purse, our mission is not only to meet the needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine, but to do everything in Jesus’ Name so they can know the kind of love that never fails.

Here are some ways we have taken the love of God and the truth of the Gospel worldwide. Join us in prayer as we continue serving those in need and sharing the greatest gift of all—the love of Jesus Christ.
