Responding in Texas Following Tragic July 4 Floods
Samaritan’s Purse volunteers will work in two locations in Texas as grieving communities begin a long recovery.
Samaritan’s Purse is responding in two Texas locations where heavy rains caused flash flooding on Friday, July 4, leaving a trail of extensive damage and claiming more than 100 lives across several counties.
Volunteers have begun work in Kerr County, nestled in the Hill Country and home to Camp Mystic. We’ll also be working in San Angelo, Texas, in Tom Green County.
Please pray for these hurting communities and for our teams as we begin to serve families in Jesus’ Name. Pray that residents would experience the peace of God and the love of His people in the midst of tragedy.
