Cynthia Gail Broussard passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the age of 69. She is preceded in death by her mother, Roberta (Scott) Stapleton, and her sisters, Sharon Badeaux and Kathy Parchman. Left to cherish Cynthia’s memory are her father, William Stapleton; husband, Rick Broussard; daughters, Dorothy Jimenez and husband Hermes, Jaime Broussard, and Laura Broussard; grandchildren, Brianna, Julia, and Max; and a host of many other family and friends.

Cynthia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed her family’s genealogy, collection of quilts, reading a vast array of books, singing, and telling scary stories. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life and personality. She always made time to console a friend either new or longtime. Above all else, Cynthia loved her family and spending time with them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Cynthia’s life will be held at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland on Saturday, November 15, at 10:00 a.m.
