David Alan Secrest stepped into eternity to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 12, 2024, four days before his 69th birthday, doing ONE of the things he loved! Our days are in God's hands however, we still feel he left this world quickly and way too early.
He was the Patriarch of our family. He showed his fierce love to his wife, Karen, Matriarch and six grandchildren in life. Our family will have a missing link in our family chain forever on this side of glory until we all are reunited and meet again on the other side!
His "larger than life personality" was loved and enjoyed by everyone he came in contact with and will be greatly missed! We all grieve deeply, however, find comfort in knowing he's with Jesus breathing celestial air!
PLEASE CHOOSE to love more deeply, hug just a bit tighter, and forgive quickly and completely as we know not what tomorrow will bring. However, we know God holds ALL our tomorrows in HIS hands of love!
David and Karen Secrest were scheduled to be at Samaritan's Purse's warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina, mid-November to mid-December to support Operation Christmas Child.
