DeAnne McCorkle passed away on December 24, 2024, at Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center. She was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, by her loving parents, Hayden and Helen Roberts. She grew up surrounded by siblings, cousins and friends galore in the Newell and Hickory Grove communities.

DeAnne was absolutely one of a kind with her sweet and giving spirit. The word most used to describe her by all is “precious”. A precious servant of the Lord who always put everyone else ahead of her own needs. We will miss her every single day on this earth but believe we will see our Mom-Mom again. May His Kingdom come, and His will be done.

One of her favorite things to do each Christmas is shop for and prepare Operation Christmas Child boxes. There is no doubt this comes from her deep love for children of all ages.
