In Memory Of
Pat Tutt - Rapid City, SD

Patricia Ann Tutt, of Rapid City, South Dakota, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the age of 80. She was born on May 25, 1944, in Texarkana, Arkansas, and grew up on the family farm surrounded by a loving and supportive extended family.

Pat married the love of her life, Joe Michael Tutt, on September 2, 1963, in Odessa, Texas. Together, they raised three girls and shared a deep bond of love and devotion throughout their marriage.

Pat was a devoted follower of Christ, and her years of service to her local church, especially University Baptist Church in Clear Lake City, Texas, were among the most special to her. She was known for her fierce independence and unwavering love of her family. Her love for her children and grandchildren knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her three daughters; Cindy Lege (Joey), Amanda Hoefling (Bryan), and Wendy Hopson (Owen); six grandchildren; Mychal, Anna, Justin (Amber), Austin, Heather and Meghan; and two great-grandchildren; Cannon and Emilee, all of whom will forever hold her memory in their hearts. She is also survived by her brother, Tommy McRoy. Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe "Mike" Tutt.

A memorial service in honor of Pat’s life will be planned and held at a later date in Texas.

Pat’s warmth, love, and strength will be greatly missed by all who knew her. As her favorite verse states; “'For I know the plans I have for you' declares the LORD, 'Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'” (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV). May she rest in peace.
