The World Needs More Good Samaritans

After sharing the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus said, “Go and do likewise” (Luke 10:37). You can help youth put their faith into action by serving as the hands and feet of Jesus.

Samaritan’s Purse offers two ways youth groups can serve

  • Operation Christmas Child

Youth can help fulfill Christ’s Great Commission by packing shoebox gifts for boys and girls in need around the world. Each shoebox is a tangible expression of God’s love and opens opportunities for church partners in more than 100 countries to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children—many of whom have never heard the Name of Jesus. Young people can also become Project Leaders, mobilizing friends and family to pack shoeboxes, or volunteer at drop-off locations or at a regional processing center to prepare shoeboxes for international shipment.

  • North American Disaster Relief and U.S. Rebuild

Youth can help when natural disasters strike by joining our army of volunteers who come alongside homeowners to bring relief in Jesus’ Name, letting those who are hurting know that God loves them and hasn’t forgotten them. Youth can also assist in rebuilding houses for families in hard-hit communities, providing them once again with a place to call home.
