Annette was involved with Operation Christmas Child for over 13 years. During that time, she held various year-round positions in the Twin Cities area, most recently as Community Relations Coordinator. In 2012, at the age of 82, Annette went on a distribution trip to the Dominican Republic. Four years later, she went on another distribution trip to Togo in Africa.
These events changed Annette's life, and as a result, Annette changed many, many lives on both ends of the shoebox journey. She was a mentor to numerous people. Even though she was small, she always thought big. She was known for her "ideas", which included packing parties with the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Wild. Her love for the ministry, her energy, and her recruiting ability will be sorely missed.
