Joe Saunderson, devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 25, 2024. He was 81.
Joe was born November 3, 1942, and married his high school sweetheart, Joyce Tracy Saunderson in 1963. They had three children, Tracy (Dale), Patrick (Karen) and Evan (Siobhan). He adored his nine grandchildren and five greats!
Joe trusted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. His family takes great comfort knowing he is finally in his eternal home with Jesus and loved ones. He held on to the verse, “For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain. He said, It’s a Win- Win!” He is no longer suffering. In fact, he is living his best life! Just think of the fish he is catching on the celestial shore!
Relatives and friends are invited to as Celebration of Life at Mount Zion UMC in Highland on Friday, November 22. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. The Celebration of Life will be at 11:30 a.m. A reception will follow.
